Landscapes in Watercolor

Take the time to explore, draw and paint the City’s neighborhoods and scenic gems.  Since the process of sketching creates an enduring memory of place, you’ll learn how to record your personal experience using graphite, conté and charcoal pencils, pen, and ink washes. The guidelines of perspective, composition along with how to depict clouds, water sky, and trees will also be covered in class.

Draw Your Heart Out  • Children

Do you like to draw and doodle and want to learn more? Then this is the class for you! We’ll have fun learning different ways to draw animals, insects, still-life set-ups, landscapes, and portraits and then assemble pop-up books or dioramas. Students will explore how to make a drawing look real with shading and shadow, color, and perspective. We’ll also look at the drawing styles of different artists.

Draw Like A Pro • Children
